Cleaning tasks will be carried out by the Cleaner for C under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor. Such responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with C’s established standards, guidelines, and policies.
Description of the position.
Typical job responsibilities and duties are as follows:.
Clean floors and other surfaces inside buildings by sweeping, mopping, and washing them.
Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor (buffers) and shampoo machines including attachments.
In public and office spaces, vacuum the rugs. Spot clean your rugs every day, and shampoo them as needed. Furniture, display cases, artwork, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces should be cleaned and dusted, including occasionally using a high-powered vacuum.
Clean the glass in interior doors, partitions, and the specified windows, as well as the windowsills.
Wash interior/exterior walls as needed each day, including the glass and trim on entrance doors.
